    DESCRIPTION:
    Join us as a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific to advance manufacturing excellence in support of our mission to make the world healthier cleaner and safer. You will play a crucial role in optimizing and continually enhancing process efficiencies quality safety and automation within our manufacturing operations. By collaborating with multi-functional teams and analyzing production methods you will successfully implement structured continuous improvement methodologies to enhance performance. Expect to lead and develop a high-performing team while technically supporting optimization opportunities and fostering a culture of detailed execution and innovation.

    REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree (required) in Chemical Mechanical Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Masters degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering within chemical pharmaceutical food & beverage or other highly regulated manufacturing environments with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes automation systems and packaging/filling operations.
  • Proven track record of leading capital improvement projects at a manufacturing site (develop annual Capex budget create obtain approval and complete individual Capex projects).
  • Experience in a highly-regulated chemical production environment is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in SPC and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma).
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and EHS standards

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $117000.00$175500.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on which includes:
