Whats The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our accounting operations. As an Accounts Payable Specialist youll manage vendor payments and reconciliations that ensure our financial accuracy and vendor relationships remain strong. Youll gain exposure to a variety of accounting processes and tools with the potential to grow within our expanding finance department.

What Will You Do

• Process invoices with the proper supporting documentation and approvals.
• Handle both manual and computer-generated payments.
• Issue customer refund checks and maintain supporting records.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and research open payments.
• Request update and maintain W-9 information.
• Assist with year-end 1099 processing.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers auditors and vendors to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate organized files and monthly A/P reports.

What You Bring To The Table

• Education/Experience: Associates degree in Accounting or 12 years of accounts payable experience (24 years preferred).
• Skills: Strong attention to detail organization and understanding of accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Tech Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word).
• Work Ethic: Dependable efficient and committed to accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaboration: A team player with clear communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
