Job Summary

Job Title: RN Med/Surg
Location: Brooklyn NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 PM 8:30 AM (Night Shift)
Pay Rate: $55 $60 per hour

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit
Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans
Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required
Monitor patients before during and after conscious sedation
Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
2 years of conscious sedation experience

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

Certifications & Licensure:

Active New York State RN License
License verification through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS (if required by facility/unit)
