Overview

The mission of the Application ProductionSupport professional is to guarantee the continuousstable and secure operation of business-critical systems. Therole combines classic APS activities with a modern reliability-first mindsetleveraging automation observability and ITIL best practices. The candidatewill be mainly dedicated to data-orientedapplications therefore prior knowledge in ETL Oracle databases and Linuxinfrastructure is essential.

APS scope includes incidents management BAU requests inframaintenance releases preparation and post-production verificationin a 24/7 shift context (weekends and public holidays when extraordinaryactivities occur).

Main Responsibilities

User & Incident Support

Provide effective first and second leveltechnical support on critical applications.

Receive triage analyze and resolve ITSM tickets(incidents problems service requests).

Participate in crisis calls and ensure optimalresolution within SLAs.

Act as primarycontact point for internal and external enquiries.

Monitoring & Infrastructure

Monitor application status and early detectionof performance degradation.

Monitor server resources on RedHat Linux and Windows environments.

Analyze system logs Dynatrace dashboards andalert tools.

Releases & Industrialization

Prepare pre-production and productionenvironments rollouts rollbacks.

Contribute to non-functional requirementsverification before go live.

Communicate with middleware network andcloud-operations teams.

Process Improvement

Root cause analysis on distributedarchitectures.

Automate daily tasks using scripting.

Continuous improvement initiatives usingAgile/Scrum context.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Must Have (should be in the CV)

6 years APS experience on IT infrastructure and data applicationssupport.

Advanced knowledge in Oracle Exadata / Exadata administration.

ETL background: IBM Data Stage / DataStage flows.

Strong SQL and PL/SQL.

RedHat Linux / Unix Shell / PowerShell / Pythonscripting.

CI/CD tools: Jenkins GitLab CI industrialization.

Observability: Dynatrace Gamma / GrafanaPrometheus AlertManager.

Kubernetes fundamentals on cloud managedservices (AWS Azure or IBM Cloud).

ITIL certification and strict ITIL practicesadoption.

Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese for dailycommunications.

Nice to Have

Networking and storage basics (VIP WAF WAFWAF SFTP Axway CFT MQ).

NoSQL databases and file storage.

SAS Control-M ELK ELK Ansible Docker Jenkins.
