About the role

As a Business Improvement Analyst you will support Essential Energys operational and strategic objectives by leading and contributing to initiatives that drive continuous improvement across the organisation. This role combines strong analytical capability with improvement methodologies to enhance business processes financial performance and customer outcomes.

You will coordinate and deliver endtoend process improvement initiatives analyse business requirements map and model processes and provide insights that support informed decisionmaking. The role also contributes to the development and implementation of mobility and transformation solutions across business units.

This is a permanent opportunity and this role sits within Assets and Digital and This role can be based anywhere withinEssential Energys operational footprint.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate a portfolio of endtoend business and process improvement initiatives
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify current and future business requirements and develop practical solutions
  • Map analyse and model business processes to support improvement planning and delivery
  • Support CAPEX and OPEX reporting through financial and statistical analysis
  • Develop implement and monitor procedures to improve compliance and operational efficiency
  • Provide advice to senior leaders on performance metrics objectives and improvement opportunities
  • Support mobility solutions and continuous improvement strategies across the business
  • Contribute to budget preparation forecasting and commercial analysis
  • Promote innovation and a culture of continuous improvement

About You

You are an analytical and improvementfocused professional with experience delivering business or process improvements in complex organisations. You enjoy working with stakeholders to understand challenges identify opportunities and deliver practical datadriven outcomes.

You bring strong problemsolving skills the ability to manage multiple initiatives and confidence translating complex information into actionable insights.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in business or process analysis and continuous improvement
  • Experience in reporting performance analysis and policy or process development
  • Strong stakeholder engagement facilitation and communication skills
  • Sound understanding of project management methodologies and commercial principles
  • Proficiency with business systems and analytical tools
  • Experience in the energy or utilities sector (desirable)

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced Diploma of Business or demonstrated capability through relevant experience and/or qualifications

Desirable:

  • Process improvement certification (e.g. Lean Six Sigma)
  • Project Management certification
