Job Summary
Walton Motors is looking for an Experienced Diesel & Gas Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. Were seeking a skilled technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience strong diagnostic ability and ASE certification (or equivalent). Diesel experience and Ford certification are highly valued.

Responsibilities
Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot systems and components
Diagnose repair and maintain automotive systems including engines transmissions brakes suspension electrical HVAC and more
Communicate findings and repair needs clearly to the Service Advisor
Provide accurate time estimates for recommended repairs
Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
2 years of automotive technician experience required
ASE certification or equivalent required
Diesel experience required; gas engine experience required
Ford certification highly preferred
Prior Ford dealership experience is a plus
Strong diagnostic electrical and engine repair skills (B-Level minimum)
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Positive professional attitude with teamwork skills
Ability to learn new technologies and service procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
