Full Time: 35 hours per week
Fixed term: 7-week contract (13 July to 28 August 2026) OR 11-week contract (15 June to 28 August 2026).

For this post we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated EAP practitioners to teach on our BALEAP-accredited pre-sessional programme on campus in Edinburgh inSummer 2026. Contracts of 7 weeks (13July to 28August 2026) or 11 weeks (15June to 28August 2026) are post is full-time (35 hours per week).
You will be joining an experienced andvery supportiveteaching and professional services team at this leading Russell Group university as we work togetherwith ourhighly motivatedstudentsto preparethem to confidently join their academic communitiesat the University of your contract with a 5-daypaidinduction you will findthe Universitys Centre for Open Learning (COL)to be an exciting positive creative challenging and rewarding place to work. As a Pre-Sessional Teaching Fellow you will use English Language Educations (ELE) in-house materials to plan and teach lessons to provide formative and summative feedback to students and to mark final assessments on the University of Edinburghs Pre-Sessional Programme. You will be a committed EAP teacher and keen to embrace reflective practice and professional development and you will be committed to dignityrespectand collegiality.
