As Sr. Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive growth and shape the future of emerging technologies and increase adoption and market segment presence of AWS.
The ideal candidate will possess a sales / account management or sales oriented consulting background. Too the candidate has a business and technical understanding that enables to drive engagement at the board and executive level as well as with IT architect teams. The candidate should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a strategic account plan and consistently deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive business and manage large corporate accounts in Media/Entertainment/Games/Sports Industry
- Consult customers regarding their digital transformation and how AWS can help
- Establish and maintain C-level relationships at company board level (including business and IT decision makers)
- Suggest create and execute against strategic account plans
- Articulate compelling value propositions (business and technical) leveraging AWS services
- Accelerate customer adoption
- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Travel required and depending on location of customer set (approx. 40%)

About the team
AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
- 8 years experience in technology related sales business development or consulting Media and Entertainment experience and SaaS/Cloud experience
- Demonstrated hunting ability to work independently and autonomously in driving projects to completion often in an ambiguous environment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills (German and English)
- Willingness for regular travel activity
- A technical or educational background in engineering or computer science is a plus
- Extensive customer network in the Media Entertainment Games or Sports industry
- Certified cloud experience (e.g. AWS Cloud Practitioner)
