TNC-The Nature Conservancy Centre (TNCC) is a not-for-profit tax-exempt organisation registered in India under Section 8 of The Companies Act 2013. Contributions to TNCC are tax-deductible by Indian donors under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act 1961. TNCC is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for undertaking Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. TNCC was set up in 2017 to advance Indias environmental goals and to conserve its natural heritage. It is a subsidiary of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) one of the largest not-for-profit conservation organisations in the world. TNCC is a science-led and collaborative organisation that works with a wide range of government and non-government partners to address key sustainability challenges facing India through on-the-ground charitable projects as well as research studies. The key areas of focus are conservation and restoration of natural resources biodiversity and climate change mitigation as well as adaptation.

We seek an Associate Director-Finance and Operations to provide finance- and operations-related services. S/he will manage core accounting finance administration and compliance activities. ADFO will work closely with senior leadership of the organisation and may also participate in critical meetings with donors partners Board and external stakeholders. S/he will manage multiple projects and collaborate with colleagues in the programme team and other departments. S/he will lead a small team and carry out all finance and operations related activities in accordance with government regulations industry standards and TNCC policies/procedures. S/he will respond to complex employee/management questions and problems based on advanced knowledge of the subject area and will leverage constructive and effective relationships with a wide range of staff including senior management. The position is based in New Delhi and reports to the Executive Director. This is a two-year position with a possibility of renewal subject to performance and management decision.
