The Role

Are you a skilled and proactive communicator who enjoys working closely with communities customers and stakeholders Do you bring experience supporting engagement initiatives managing projects and creating inclusive accessible content

Were seeking an experienced Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to collaborate on the delivery of CHLs external communication and engagement initiatives with a strong focus on communities customers and key stakeholders across the lifecycle of our developments. Working closely with project teams and the Communications and Marketing team youll support relationship-building contribute to risk management and help deliver targeted campaigns that align with organisational objectives.

What youll do:

  • Help develop and deliver strategic external communication and stakeholder engagement plans and campaigns in collaboration with relevant local development project teams
  • Provide support on community and customer engagement initiatives including surveys focus groups and targeted engagement activities
  • Develop and implement communication and engagement plans for major and strategically significant development projects
  • Create inclusive accessible content across digital print and media channels
  • Monitor engagement media and performance metrics and contribute to insights and reporting
  • Identify and manage community and stakeholder risks through proactive communication and engagement

What youll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications Public Relations Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in communications stakeholder engagement marketing or public affair
  • Strong writing editing and content development skills across multiple platforms and audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in developing targeted campaigns events and engagement initiatives
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • A commitment to inclusive communication brand consistency and continuous improvement

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in housing homelessness or community services
  • Experience in not-for-profit government or community-based organisations
  • Experience supporting change communications or complex projects
