The EHS Engineer role at Micron offers an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class team committed to environmental health and safety this ambitious position you will play a key role in crafting the future of our EHS initiatives ensuring that we meet and surpass industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Microns environmental programs and procedures are effective efficient and adhere to the management system and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in achieving the sites sustainability goals by participating in committees and providing input to plan complete and monitor projects.
• Present environmental matters effectively to Micron Leadership and local state and federal agencies.
• Conduct accurate environmental calculations and submit vital reports to regulatory agencies.
• Perform applicability determinations on environmental regulations.
• Make objective decisions supported by verifiable facts.
• Complete internal auditor training and support EHS management system internal audits.
• Coordinate manage and conduct environmental walkthroughs inspections and audits to ensure operations align with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform incident and event follow-up and investigation determine root cause(s) implement containment action establish corrective action & preventative action and verify efficiency.
• Collect evaluate and communicate environmental-related metrics and performance measurements.
• Identify develop and provide environmental training in accordance with regulations and company & department objectives.
• Provide customer support and technical expertise for various environmental issues and environmental regulations.
• Develop and implement functional efficient solutions for environmental issues.

Requirements

• Demonstrated background in environmental health and safety engineering.
• Outstanding ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to conduct detailed investigations and implement corrective actions successfully.
• Experience with environmental management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Relevant certifications and training in environmental health and safety management.
