Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Central Regional Hospital is currently recruiting for multiple Housekeeping positions on all shifts. Housekeepers perform a variety of duties while cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms common areas lobby areas offices bathrooms and other assigned areas both inside and outside the hospital building. This is accomplished by using the appropriate disinfectants and cleaners to enhance the overall appearance and sanitation of the hospital. They also operate various pieces of heavy cleaning equipment perform medium to heavy physical work and will need to follow written and verbal instructions. Much of the work is performed independently but you will also be part of a team and must be willing to be a good team member. We expect that you will be pleasant courteous and thoughtful around patients staff and visitors.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Pay Range: $26851.00 - $46991.00

Recruitment Range: $31200.00 - $46991.00

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

  • Documented experience of cleaning and sanitizing procedures cleaning equipment and supplies.

  • Ability to communicate information in the English language in a concise and descriptive manner verbally written or by demonstration.

Conditional Requirements:

  • Advanced Physical Skills (APS) certification through the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and CPR certification within 60 days.

This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.

We Will Be Recruiting For Multiple Positions With This Post. Your Application Will Be Considered For All Noted Open Positions.

Shifts and Shift Premiums:

  • Day (7:00 am - 3:30 pm): no shift premium

  • Evening (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm): 10% shift premium

  • Night (11:00 pm - 7:30 am): no shift premium
