Overview
We are seeking a BiomedicalTechnician I(BMET I) to join ourteam.TheBiomedicalTechnician I (BMET I) position is an entry level role with primary responsibilities for general patient careequipment service and maintenance performance. The BMET I position has direct reportingresponsibilities to the assignedaffiliate Unity Point Clinical Engineer Manager or designated Supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance electrical safety inspections and equipment verification.
- Install troubleshoot repair and calibrate biomedical equipment PCs and medical networks.
- Assistsenior BMETs with advanced equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
- Maintainaccurateservice records in the CMMS database and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Communicate with clinical staffregardingequipment status and provide user education.
- Coordinate with vendors and service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
- Participate in ongoing training and adhere to oncall rotation and travel requirements.
Qualifications
Education:
- Associates degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology Electronics orotherTechnology/IT related program; militaryBiomedical Engineering Technician course graduaterequired.
Experience:
- Three (3)monthsexperience working with Biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Valid drivers license (DRLC1IA DRLC1IL DRLC1WI).
- AUTOINSfor drivinga personal vehicle.
