Description of Work
The North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections (NCDAC) is the largest state agency and is responsible for the care custody and supervision of all adults sentenced after conviction for violating North Carolina laws. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits.
This position requires the daily commute to North Carolina Correctional Institute for Women (NCCIW) in Raleigh NC while also assisting the Raleigh Satellite Maintenance Team with electronic preventative maintenance at other regional work schedule is Monday Friday and may require some weekend work and overnight travel to meet the demands of the organization.

Minimum Education and Experience

Associates degree in electronics from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of progressive experience in the repair and maintenance of complex electronic systems including some responsibility for the design of electronic apparatus; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
