Sales Admin Assistant

We are looking for an organized and proactiveSales Admin Assistantto support our sales team in driving revenue and delivering exceptional client service. This role includes coordinating meetings and events preparing proposals and contracts and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented customer-focused and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- You will assist the sales and catering managers and directors with clerical tasks and guest service so that they can focus on closing business.
- Your daily tasks will include responding to guests requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner; word processing typing e-mailing data entry filing faxing copying and processing mail; other general office duties and assisting with special projects as needed.
- Your boss is the Director of Sales.
- A coordinator role is an excellent entry-level position in the sales department because you learn about all aspects of sales catering and CS as well as the operation of the entire hotel. This position can set you up for a progressive career in the sales discipline. It is also a good job for someone who likes to leave work behind at the end of the shift.
Education & Experience
Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have
- A high school diploma a GED or one year of hotel experience
- Prior Office Admin Experience Hotel Experience A Plus Event And Catering Experience A Plus.
Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications
What Youll Need to Succeed
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Able to work M - F some evenings andweekends as needed
- Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
- Ability to sit stand bend kneel and lift as requiredwith or without reasonable accommodations
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays if needed
- A warm professional demeanor that reflects HVMGs Culture of Excellence
