Job Summary

General Function:
A nurturing motivated and professional individual responsible for the care education health and well-being of a group of school-age children. This role assists the Head Teacher with the planning implementation and evaluation of daily activities in accordance with the policies procedures and philosophies of the YMCA Childrens Center CT State Licensing Regulations and CT Best Practice Guidelines for School-Age Children.

The position maintains a high level of communication and support with staff families and the Program Director; participates in YMCA events; maintains a professional and positive attitude; and stays current with YMCA and State of Connecticut professional requirements.

Schedule:

MondayFriday
7:15 a.m.9:00 a.m.
Occasional afternoons: 3:00 p.m.6:00 p.m.

Ideal for college students!

Minimum age 18

Additional Hour may be available in other department.

Required Experience:

Junior IC
