• Employment Type:Full-time
• Reports To:Team Lead/Manager
• Role Overview :As a Junior Analyst within Chubbs Risk & Capital Team you will support the operation and use of our capital model which assesses quantifiable material risks on both sides of Chubbs balance sheet. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with 0-2 years of experience who are eager to learn and develop their skills in data management and risk assessment. Your role will involve working with large datasets assisting in model operations and contributing to various projects within the Risk Function.
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

Model Operation:

• Gain an understanding of the capital models technical workings.
• Assist in coordinating with other departments to ensure the model is accurately calibrated.
• Ensure the models outputs are accurate and support reporting needs.

• Conduct basic model manipulations and coding changes as needed

  Risk Management Integration:

• Understand how the Chubb Internal Model fits into the broader Risk Management Framework.

• Identify opportunities to integrate the model into a cohesive risk management strategy.

  Wider Model Support:

• Help respond to requests for model usage identifying potential areas for future application.

Experience:

• 0-2 years of experience in data manipulation particularly in Excel and similar tools.

• Familiarity with numerical problem-solving is advantageous.

• Good communication skills

Education:

• A degree in a relevant field that demonstrates numerical competencies such as Accounting Economics Statistics Mathematics or Actuarial Science.

• It is essential to be able to articulate how the knowledge gained from your studies can be applied in day-to-day tasks within the role.

• Candidates with experience in data analysis or related projects even at an academic level are encouraged to apply.
