Social Strategy & Brand Voice
-Create and evolve the brands identity across social channels positioning Amazon Music as a cultural participant not just a music app
-Develop a channel-first strategy that fosters engagement advocacy and community among audio lovers
-Define frameworks that drive consistency while encouraging experimentation and bold creativity
-Use insights on culture fandom and platform signals to inform creative decisions
-Partner closely with Brand PR Product and Global teams to champion the role of social as a business-impacting lever
-Manage budgets agency relationships and creative production pipelines end-to-end
Culture & Pop-Culture Leadership
-Proactively identify emerging cultural moments fandom trends and platforms where music and conversations thrive
-Build Amazon Musics role within Indias pop-culture ecosystem through real-time reactive and creator-collaborative content
-Stay ahead of whats shaping culture - genres films artists memes subcultures and make the brand a relevant voice in them
Content & Fandom Marketing
-Leverage music-driven content from artist collaborations to film tie-ins to deepen fandom and drive streaming behavior
-Partner with Label Relations Editorial Partner Marketing & Originals teams to amplify top releases playlists podcasts and cultural properties
-Drive creator-led advocacy by collaborating with YouTube/Instagram creators & IPs that influence audio consumption
-Build measurement systems tied to brand love engagement velocity conversion influence and community health

-Shape a tentpole calendar that champions key cultural moments and builds ownable brand Ips
-Conceptualize and launch recurring content franchises that build habit and deepen brand recall
-Lead always-on social listening to respond with agility and cultural fluency
Who You Are
-710 years of work experience in social/content marketing within youth culture entertainment consumer tech
-Deep understanding of Indian pop-culture fandom behaviors and creator ecosystems
-A digital-native storyteller with strong instincts for platform shifts community behavior and emotional storytelling
-Comfortable operating in high-growth fast-changing environments with a Bias for Action
-Skilled in data-led decision-making while championing bold creative bets
-Leadership experience in managing creators agencies and internal stakeholders
About the team
Amazon Music India is transforming the way fans experience music podcasts and audio entertainment. As we expand our footprint in India we are looking for a Lead of Social & Content Marketing to drive our cultural narrative build passionate fan communities and drive platform advocacy through content and creator engagement.
- 7 years of marketing experience
- Experience executing scaled marketing campaigns through email or social media
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
