Job Description:

What Youll Do:

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities

• Assist with daily living skill-building and personal care

• Ensure a clean safe and respectful environment

• Work as part of a compassionate collaborative team

What You Need:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Valid drivers license

• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs regularly

• This position requires proficiency in English including the ability to read write speak and comprehend the language effectively.

Important Notes:

• On-Call positions are temporary and do not include state benefits.

• Flexible scheduling a great fit for students retirees or anyone needing work/life balance.

• On-Call positions are required to work a minimum of 32 hours per month. 16 of those hours will be required on the weekend which falls between 2:30pm on Friday and 6:45am on Monday morning.

Wages: Developmental Technician I (Part Time/On-Call) - $15.769/hour

Training typically runs Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM - but we know life doesnt always fit neatly into those hours! Thats why were offering more flexible options.

• If you already have an active CNA license on the Nebraska registry you can complete your training in the evenings/weekends.

• If youre not yet licensed youll attend a week of ICF DD Nursing assistant class Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid drivers license.

Other:

• Positions classified to this class may be exposed to infectious waste diseases and blood and airborne pathogens such as TB HIV and Hepatitis.

• Incumbents are required to have the ability to lift bend push and/or pull 50 pounds on a continuous basis to assist clients in meeting their needs and maintaining safety within the home.
