Dometic Land Vehicles Americas is a trusted provider of high-end products for recreational vehicles commercial passenger vehicles and overlanding vehicles in North America Latin America and the Caribbean. We are on a journey of continuous growth now looking for our next star a passionate Sales Account Manager within our Sales capability. This position reports to Director of Sales and will work remotely preferably in the Los Angeles CA metro.
About the position
As a Sales Account Manager you will build influential relationships with assigned accounts to achieve strategic sales service and end-user support objectives as assigned. Through extensive territory travel you will engage with existing accounts to build them up as well as identify new account opportunities with a long-term focus on ensuring Dometic has a strong and balanced position in all markets within the territory. This position reports to the Director of Sales.
Your Main responsibilities:
- Manage Pool and Spa and Industrial customer business to achieve strategic KPIs including but not limited to sales market share / program promotion / product training and service development.
- Create and maintain a development plan based upon targets and KPIs that will be defined by management.
- Develop and maintain account prioritized route schedules to guide travel.
- Utilize sales reporting and territory management software tools.
- Become technically proficient in all product categories and an expert in sales critical feature-benefits.
- Deliver training to customers (dealers and key stakeholders) to support new product launches / product category education and eCommerce utilization.
- Engage with customer service and other functional areas as necessary to address account issues requiring escalation and to support efforts to ensure accounts remain in good standing.
- Build relationships with customers (dealers and key stakeholders) through participation in industry events where relevant.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
