Description of Work
This position conducts Administrative Hearings for the Division of Motor Vehicles for a variety of circumstances that involve drivers or vehicles. This position will hear motions take testimony review and analyze all evidence and render a fair and impartial decision based on the evidence presented. This position must also draft Findings of Facts and Conclusion of Law. This position is required to service customers in areas of motor vehicle regulations and thus requires a thorough working knowledge of the laws rules and regulations related to the various business areas (such as ACIS and CJLEADS). This position must be familiar with the formal aspects of civil procedure. This position should consistently demonstrate good legal knowledge effective communication skills (verbal and written) and proper courtroom decorum when dealing with all parties.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC-12- Salary Range $45926.00 - $63147 - $80369.00
