Lets talk about what the role entails!

You will be responsible for posting payments reconciling customer accounts and various reporting duties for management

Process daily payment remittances (Checks Wires ACH etc.)

Perform daily reconciliation of cash application batches posted in our accounting software compared to the bank reports

Process credit card payments

Support collections efforts by completing research on cash applications per request of Collection Specialists and other collections personnel

Complete all reconciliations and reapplications provided by Credit/Collections

As neededassist with generatingregular reports to accurately track financial information

Address payment issues such as double payments or other discrepancies

Perform administrative and month end duties & support as required

Provide audit support as requested

Other duties and assignments as required by the department supervisor

Job requirements

We are looking for a results-driven passionate and focused individual who can provide first-in-class customer service representative of the values and culture for BLG. Additional requirements include:

2 years prior experience in accounts receivable and/or cash applications

Ability to work independently and contribute to broader team objectives

Ability to multitask and manage time amid multiple deadlines

Superb written and verbal communications skills as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Microsoft GP knowledge is a PLUS as well as experience in the trucking & logistics field
