Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Scrum Master with a proven track record of servant leadership and a deep practical understanding of how Scrum works from both a leadership and a team contributor perspective. This role is crucial for unlocking team capacity enabling Product Owners to achieve outcomes and being the driving force behind value delivery for an over-capacity technology team.

What You Will Do

Serve as SCRUM Master for one or more PODs

Drive effective Agile/SCRUM practices aligned with PCCAs culture and the regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Facilitate core ceremonies (Planning Daily Scrum Refinement Review Retro) to ensure clarity decisions and measurable improvement.

Partner with Product Owners to maintain a clear prioritized backlog tied to business and patient safety outcomes establishing meaningful sprint goals.

Utilize AI tools and data to:

o Generate and maintain sprint analytics and flow metrics.

o Identify trends in impediments bottlenecks and quality issues.

o Monitor and visualize team workload WIP and team health.

o Prepare insights summaries and recommendations for Product Owners and leadership.

Proactively identify and remove organizational process or technical impediments.

Champion continuous improvement using retrospectives and data to drive concrete changes that unlock capacity reduce friction and improve quality.

Experience & Core Qualifications

Dedicated Scrum Master Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience serving as a Scrum Master for multiple diverse software development teams specifically focusing on coaching the team toward high performance and self-management.

Prior Team Contribution (Required): Minimum of 2 years of prior hands-on experience as an active contributing team member (e.g. Developer QA Analyst Business Analyst or Product Owner) before transitioning into the Scrum Master role. This foundational experience is essential to demonstrate practical empathy and a deep understanding of day-to-day team dynamics and technical challenges.

Certification: Hold at least one active recognized Scrum certification (e.g. CSM PSM I or equivalent). Advanced certification (e.g. A-CSM PSM II) is highly desirable.

Scaling Experience (Optional but Highly Desirable): Experience working within a scaled Agile environment (e.g. SAFe LeSS Nexus) or coaching multiple teams working on a single product.
