Job Summary

Come join Architecture Incorporated this summer as an Interior Design Intern in our Sioux Falls office! We are seeking a junior or senior interior design student who is creative organized and passionate about designand eager to learn how interior designers contribute within an architectural firm.

This is a full-time paid internship running from June through August 2026 with some flexibility available.

What Youll Learn & Experience

Materials Library:

Organize and maintain the materials library.
Assist with identifying and ordering standard material samples.

Project Support & Design Assistance:

With guidance from our interior design team youll have opportunities to:

Research and assist with material and finish selections.
Prepare material boards finish schedules and design documentation.
Assist with drafting and contract documents.
Support rendering efforts using design software.
Attend client meetings design team meetings and site visits.
Participate in product manufacturer and representative meetings.
Help prepare client presentation materials and meeting minutes.
Assist with Revit updates and design documentation during meetings
Prepare project close-out binders.
Update corporate interior design standards and contact lists.

What Were Looking For

Education:

Junior or Senior Interior Design student enrolled in an accredited institution.

Experience & Technical Skills:

Experience using Revit Enscape Sketchup Adobe InDesign Adobe Photoshop Bluebeam or similar rendering software.
