The NC Department of Administration is the business manager for North Carolina state government. The department oversees Government Operations such as building construction purchasing and contracting for goods and services maintaining facilities managing state vehicles acquiring and disposing of real property and operating auxiliary services such as courier mail delivery and the sale of state and federal surplus property. Additionally the department manages many of the states advocacy programs that provide assistance and services to diverse segments of the states population that have been traditionally underserved.

Job Duties: Support the NCcareers team in strengthening outreach and engagement with North Carolina students by enhancing digital communications social media strategy and career exploration resources.
Major Task to be Performed:
Final Product or Outcome Anticipated: A communications strategy that increases student awareness and use of NCcareers tools along with new content (blogs resources social media posts) and actionable recommendations for improving engagement usability.
Academic Majors Desired: Communications Public Relations Marketing Public Administration Education Business.

Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written; research development present and promote projects; work independently; prioritize work and meet deadlines; social media; knowledge or interest in career exploration; attention to detail; ability to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvements.
