Job Summary

TECHNICAL WRITER DOCUMENTATION
As a Technical Writer Documentation you will be a viable member of a team focused on creating vehicle history books for state-of-the-art passenger trains that we build. If you have experience in creating and editing complex technical documentation this is the career for you:
Key Activities
  • Processing all activities related to the fulfilment of all contractual requirements regarding documentation
  • Member of the core team providing full support to the technical project manager for all aspects related to the required project documentation
  • Processing of the documentation and providing progress reporting in accordance with project schedule
  • Responsibility for delivery of full set of documentation deliverables (creation of vehicle history books) as per contract in line with budget
  • Coordination and Integration of sub-supplier documentation
  • Creation of spare part catalog with in-house tools
  • Align local documentation activities with international documentation team
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering and/or Journalism or equivalent training
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical writing or similar role
  • Team player with high degree of social competence sense of responsibility and assertiveness
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office
  • Critical thinker and self-starter
  • Structured goal-oriented dynamic and loyal personality
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong teamwork skills
  • Business fluent in English (German is a bonus)
