Job Summary

TECHNICAL WRITER DOCUMENTATION

As a Technical Writer Documentation you will be a viable member of a team focused on creating vehicle history books for state-of-the-art passenger trains that we build. If you have experience in creating and editing complex technical documentation this is the career for you:

Key Activities

Processing all activities related to the fulfilment of all contractual requirements regarding documentation
Member of the core team providing full support to the technical project manager for all aspects related to the required project documentation
Processing of the documentation and providing progress reporting in accordance with project schedule
Responsibility for delivery of full set of documentation deliverables (creation of vehicle history books) as per contract in line with budget
Coordination and Integration of sub-supplier documentation
Creation of spare part catalog with in-house tools
Align local documentation activities with international documentation team

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering and/or Journalism or equivalent training
3-5 years of experience in technical writing or similar role
Team player with high degree of social competence sense of responsibility and assertiveness
Well versed in Microsoft Office
Critical thinker and self-starter
Structured goal-oriented dynamic and loyal personality
Excellent communication and writing skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong teamwork skills
Business fluent in English (German is a bonus)
