Description of Work

This position will provide Creative and Expressive Arts Services for the patients throughout the hospital. Duties include planning and implementing active treatment groups documentation of patients response to treatment conducting Rehabilitation Services assessments Creative/Expressive Arts evaluations upon referral and assisting treatment teams in developing individualized treatment plans. This position may also provide Creative/Expressive Arts activities and/or assist with other special activities as scheduled may include evenings and weekends. Work hours are Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. and evenings/ weekends/holidays as scheduled.

Recruitment Range: $41857.00 - $62786.00

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: Maximum of 5 per Session Law

Considerable knowledge of the therapeutic creative/expressive arts therapy principles techniques and methods and their application to the population being served.

Ability to conduct creative/expressive arts therapy services to support mental health treatment plan.

Ability to implement a variety of assessment methods to create individualized goals and interventions.

Ability to evaluate and document client progress towards goals to present to interdisciplinary team meetings.

Ability to integrate a philosophy of creative/expressive arts which is therapeutic in nature into a clinical program.

This Position Is Designated as Mandatory and Must Report or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.
