Location: Lisburn with multi-sites
Full-time Permanent

The successful HR Generalist will provide proactive comprehensive HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This is a true generalist role working closely with managers and senior stakeholders to support day-to-day HR operations and people initiatives across a multi-site business.

The Role:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment including job descriptions advertising interviews and offers
  • Coordinate onboarding to ensure a positive new starter experience
  • Advise managers on employee relations matters including absence disciplinary grievance performance and capability
  • Support and lead investigations hearings and appeals in line with policy and legislation
  • Prepare contracts offer letters variations and employment documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems in line with GDPR
  • Monitor sickness absence produce reports and identify trends
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Contribute to HR projects including engagement wellbeing organisational change and EDI initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement of HR processes and ways of working

The Person:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or above)
  • 2 years experience in a generalist HR/HR Officer/ HR Advisor role
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Experience advising managers on employee relations issues
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems
  • Experience supporting change management or organisational development initiatives
