About the role

  • The Immunology & Infectious Diseases Ambulatory Care (IBAC) Clinic is an outpatient department specialising in Immunology HIV and Infectious Diseases.

  • As one of the largest HIV services in Australia we currently care for approximately 1500 people living with HIV.

  • The primary focus of the IBAC Treatment Room Nurse is to provide care to patients receiving blood products cytotoxic & chemotherapyinfusions IV & nebulisedmedications vaccinations and pathology collection.

  • The Treatment Room Nurses provide support to our allergy service including skin prick testing immunotherapy administration and allergy challenges.

About you

  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team using effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.

  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
