Mars Petcare is seeking a Quality Technician to join our exciting pet food business at a manufacturing plant in Temple Texas. We focus our attention on the unique needs of cats and dogs. Shift: 223 Nights (7pm 7:30am)

What are we looking for

Food Science Engineering Chemistry or equivalent BSc/ MSc degree is preferred.
Knowledge of quality management system FSSC22000 and quality program GMP/ Hygienic design familiar with legal food safety requirements and food process technology.
Problem-solving skills and systematic thinking
Communication and influencing skills.

What will be your key responsibilities

Drive the implementation of GMP on-site in compliance with the Mars GMP/ GHP standard including GMP for production/ engineering and contractor etc.
Document control system management including the Nexus system.
Develop the quality system training material and training plan and follow the implementation.
CAPA system follow-up to make sure all CAPA are not overdue.
Prepare the management review report material.
Verify the system procedure and regulation requirement compliance in the process.
Coordinate change management assessment at the site level.
Complete any other projects assigned by the Line Manager.
