Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective high-level customer relations with purchasing and key decision makers within assigned territory
- Proactively make decisions but also utilize available resources to meet customer needs and work effectively with a cross-functional team of supplier and internal resources; Seeks out broader relationships within the account to help facilitate networking and prospecting
- Focus on hunting for new business opportunities to increase contract attachment rate in assigned territory as well as convert warranties into service contracts and renew service contracts
- Hold high-level customer discussions on complex needs such as custom GMP validation / compliance needs.
- Meet or exceed a defined Service Sales plan; forecast Sales performance accurately
- Make daily outbound telephone and video calls and communicate via email to all organizational levels and functional areas in accounts where purchasing decisions are made in the assigned territory
- Capitalize on training opportunities to develop in depth knowledge of Service and Support offerings (Service contracts and support plans time and materials billable services validation and compliance services) in order to proactively uncover new opportunities within assigned accounts to generate revenue growth
- Understand the competitive landscape within accounts to position like or better service offerings to customers
- Communicate key competitive activities market trends and changing customer directions to the organization
- Utilize data sources to analyse and develop sales opportunities with the greatest return on investment
- Help Develop and Support creation of marketing programs with support from Sales/Marketing Managers and ultimately support execution of marketing tactics within region.
- Complete assigned tasks and reports in a timely accurate and complete manner while maximizing productivity during key selling time
- Manage pricing and negotiates within territory to control profitability
- Communicate with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems perform other tasks assigned by manager
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Sales Experience in a Scientific Field
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and the with SAP Power BI or Salesforce will be valued
- Must possess excellent communication skills (mainly remotely online by phone and email) to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
- Basic knowledge in life science equipment an advantage
- Must have a high proficiency at negotiating complex deals (public and private institutions)
- Fluent communication in French and English.
