The primary purpose of this position is to manage and oversee the Resource Program Management Office providing leadership to a team of five employees while ensuring the effective coordination of applicant processing cadet support mentor engagement and program compliance. This role serves as a central point of contact for applicants families mentors and outside agencies while maintaining accurate records safeguarding confidential information and ensuring that all data entry reporting and correspondence are completed in a timely and professional manner. By directing office operations and supporting the mission of the Challenge Program the position plays a vital role in facilitating the successful enrollment support and progression of cadets through the program.

Recruitment Range: $41655.00 - $50366.00

DPS uses the Merit-Based Recruitment and Selection Plan to fill positions subject to the State Human Resources Act with the most qualified individuals.

The Minimum Education and Experience (E&E) is REQUIRED to qualify for this position. Management Preferences including Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) are not but may be used to determine the pool of most qualified applicants. Managers may also choose to interview/select applicants who demonstrate Management Preferences.

Management Preferences

Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience including one year as a lead worker; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
