Design Coordinator (MEPStructural)

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Coordinator (MEP/Structural) to join our team in Riyadh Saudi this role you will be responsible for coordinating the design aspects of Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) and Structural elements for our building and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong buildings-focused rather than infrastructure background in engineering and excellent coordination skills to ensure seamless integration of various design disciplines.

• Coordinate MEP and structural design activities across multiple projects ensuring alignment with architectural designs and client requirements
• Review and analyze design drawings specifications and other technical documents for accuracy completeness and compliance with project standards
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams external consultants and stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and optimize solutions
• Organize and lead design coordination meetings documenting decisions and action items
• Identify potential design clashes and propose effective solutions to mitigate issues
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of design output
• Stay updated on local building codes regulations and industry best practices
• Contribute to the development of sustainable design strategies for projects
• Prepare and present design coordination reports to project managers and clients

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Civil or Architectural)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP/Structural design coordination preferably in large-scale building and mixed-use projects - buildings-focused rather than infrastructure.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong knowledge of MEP and structural design principles
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with diverse teams
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
• Understanding of sustainable design practices and their implementation in projects
• Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED are preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
