Facade Access Application Engineer- A&C, REC

• The role focuses on translating design intent into practical safe and compliant access systems. 

• Assist in the design engineering of façade access and maintenance systems for new and existing buildings. 

• Prepare and develop façade access drawings feasibility diagrams layouts details and sketches using CAD and relevant software to incorporate in the project repot and specification.  

• Translate conceptual façade access strategies into clear technical drawings suitable for design development and construction stages.  

• Clear knowledge in application of façade access systems including BMUs davits monorails rope access provisions and other forms of access required to work at height.  

• Support façade and façade access design teams on appropriate façade access strategies and proposals. 

• Review design information and drawing submissions for compliance with project requirements legislation and applicable codes and standards. 

• Contribute to the assessment of façade access requirements. 

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure integrated and practical design solutions.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in engineering (Civil/Structural) Architectural Engineering or equivalent. 

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in Architecture/Building/Construction Industry. Preferably with previous experience with Façade/Architectural works structural steel curtain wall sky light metal works inspection quality control etc. 

• Familiarity with façade access systems and the review of technical drawings and submissions. 

• Demonstrate a desire to work in a multidisciplinary team finding holistic building design solutions. 

• Proficient in CAD BIM (2D/3D)/Sketch up or other design softwares. 

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Power Points.
