Full time APP ( NP or PA) opportunity with Carilion Family Medicine -Blacksburg. This APP would be shared between the Plantation Road office- working 3 days a week (Tues-Thurs) and 2 days a week at Warm Hearth (Mon and Friday).3 years of experience is required.
What We Require:
Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Experience: 0
Licensure/Certification: Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP) DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required. AHA BLS-HCP certification required. Advanced Life Support certification preferred. Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.
Minimum qualifications: Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers. Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy required for automated computer systems including electronic medical records.
