Position Summary

We areseekinga motivated and detail-orientedTransportationProject Managerto join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background inmanaging transportation projects for local municipalities or FDOT including planning design and permitting. This position offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary projects that improve mobility safety and infrastructure in our communities.

Your Responsibilities as a TransportationProject Manager:

• Manage thedesign and delivery of transportation projectsfor local and regional government clients includingroadwaysidewalkintersection and multimodal improvements.
• Serve asProject Managerfor assigned projectsresponsible for scope schedule budget and client coordination.
• Prepare and overseedevelopmentof plans specifications and estimates (PS&E)in accordance withFDOT and local standards.
• Coordinate with public agencies utility providers andpermittingauthorities.
• Conduct and/or oversee traffic analysis safety studies and roadway geometry design.
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6Yearsexperience in civil / transportation engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensein Florida (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• Demonstrated experience inproject managementfor municipal or county transportation projects.
• Working knowledge ofFDOT standards the Florida Design Manual (FDM) MUTCD and local agency design criteria.
• ProficiencywithMicroStation /OpenRoads AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead client interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withLocal Agency Program (LAP)projects or FDOT coordination.
• Familiarity withgrant-funded transportation projects(e.g. CDBG SCOPSCRAP )
• Experience developing cost estimates and managing subconsultants.
• Bachelors orMasters degree in Civilor Transportation Engineering.
