Work Schedule:Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site (2) hybrid or (3) fully remote. Youll play a key part in our Consumer Asset Management Deficiency Recovery operations investigating discrepancies in vehicle collateral and factory-installed options for charged-off accounts. - Review vehicle documentation to validate trim levels factory-installed options and packages against dealer-reported information
- Analyze VIN data and compare against Dealer bookout valuations and option sheets and/or valuation and vehicle data tools
- Identify discrepancies related to misrepresented options incorrect trims or missing equipment
- Document findings clearly and concisely to support internal decision-making and dealer follow-up
- Partner with internal teams (sales risk operations compliance) to resolve vehicle content discrepancies
- Support dispute resolution by providing evidence-based analysis
- Maintain accuracy and consistency while working within defined service-level timelines
- Contribute to process improvements related to vehicle verification and collateral quality
- Experience in dealership operations (parts sales service writing or technician) vehicle inspection/appraisal or auto finance collateral review required
- Strong automotive knowledge including trims option packages model-year variations and VIN decoding required
- Experience with tools such as Black Book Kelley Blue Book J.D. Power Cox Automotive products Experian Automotive or similar strongly preferred
- Background in arbitration audits post-sale disputes or risk operations
- Exposure to auto finance leasing or lender-side operations
- Skilled in using data analytics tools (SQL Python PowerBI/Tableau) for quality assurance and process improvement
- High attention to detail with strong written documentation and communication skills.
- Comfortable making judgment calls and supporting decisions with data

Base Pay Range: $47840 - $75000 USD
An individuals position in the range is determined by the specific role the scope and responsibilities of the role work experience education certification(s) training and additional qualifications. We review internal pay the competitive market and business environment prior to extending an offer.
