The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable energy solutions. As a Strategic Procurement Specialist youll implement effective sourcing strategies aligned with our business goals and global Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) strategy. Youll ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future requirements while driving alignment between local supply chain activities and global standards.
In this role youll collaborate with proposal project and category teams to manage procurement for key projects develop schedules forecasts and budgets and oversee delivery processes to meet cost quality and timeline expectations. Youll also lead initiatives to improve cost quality and delivery performance while leveraging global supplier relationship platforms to identify and engage high-performing partners.

How Youll Make an Impact
- Implement sourcing strategies aligned with business and global CIPS objectives.
- Collaborate with project teams to manage procurement schedules budgets and forecasts.
- Drive improvements in cost quality delivery and working capital.
- Utilize global supplier relationship platforms for strategic sourcing.
- Manage procurement planning cost tracking and risk mitigation.
- Establish local agreements and maintain standard contract terms.
- Guide and develop team members within SCM excellence guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and global sourcing strategies.
- Proven ability to manage budgets forecasts and procurement plans.
- Experience with supplier relationship management platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
