Basic Function
Under direct supervision of the Design Director of Digital Media Content operate video camera equipment and provide limited editing services.
Key Responsibilities
Camera Operator (80%): Technical operation of our equipment and video capture.
Set-up audio and video recording equipment including microphones lighting and staging.

Set-up and operate green screen set.
Offload and archive footage.
Editor (10%): Operation of editing platforms and storytelling.
Operate editing software (Creative Suite) to organize and edit captured video footage.
Resize and re-encode videos for specific display monitors.
Complete minor photo editing and manipulation such as color correction.
Complete archival video footage review and capture as needed.
Motion Graphics Animator & Audio Editing (10%): Operation of motion graphics platforms and graphic design. Audio mastering and music editing.
Operate motion graphics software.
Create animation of text and graphics.
Complete minor graphic design.
Complete music editing and manipulation of duration.
Use audio sound editing to master sound for various sports facilities.
Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University the NCAA the Conference the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University. The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations. As a condition of employment the Employee shall be required to participate in rules education programs offered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
High School graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in electronics television operations or production including one year as a TV/Video Equipment Operator I or equivalent.
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license certification and/or registration.
Preferred Qualification
Additional experience with design software and editing.
