ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the OCM Laboratory Supervisor youll be responsible for carrying out and coordinating laboratory testing interpreting results and supporting customers with technical insight. The role is full-time and permanent operating within a 37.5-hour working week with some on-call rotation and occasional UK travel. Intertek will provide full training mentoring and development to support your continued professional growth.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Undertake and coordinate laboratory testing using established analytical methods
- Interpret test data and produce clear meaningful conclusions
- Provide technical advice to customers regarding test results and product analysis
- Maintain existing laboratory equipment and support the commissioning of new methods
- Ensure full compliance with quality accreditation and laboratory procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all testing activities
- Support continuous improvement within laboratory operations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to meet service delivery requirements
- Adhere to all health safety and manual handling requirements
- Participate in on-call rotation and support business needs as required
