- Collaborate with engineers and customers to design implement and maintain scalable systems and services.
- Translate functional requirements into clear testable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Ownership of features or componentswith guidance from senior engineers driving them from design through deployment.
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Contribute to system integrations and automation efforts that improve operational efficiency.
- Debug and resolve production issues with attention to reliability and root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with engineers to define and implement effective test strategies.
- Provide support to junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Explore new tools and technologies to improve team productivity.
- BS in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 36 yearsof software-development experience.
- Strong proficiency inJavaand/orPython.
- Experience developing software forUnix/Linuxenvironments.
- Solid understanding ofdistributed systemsandscalable architectures.
- Familiarity with bothrelationalandNoSQLdatabases.
- Understanding ofRESTJSON andweb-service design principles.
- Experience withversion-control toolssuch as Git and GitLab.
- Exposure toDockerKubernetesPrometheusConsul or related technologies.
- Working knowledge ofnetwork fundamentals(TCP/IP DNS load balancing).
- Experience withCI/CD pipelinesand automated-testing frameworks.
- Collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working in anAgiledevelopment environment.
- Demonstrates accountability and ownership of results.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Curious proactive and motivated to learn and improve.
- Experience withKafkaSQL orevent-driven systemsis a plus.
- Passion for gaming and the PlayStation ecosystem is a bonus!
