The LTAMDS and Ghost eye Department within Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) seeks talented Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Students to join our team as Systems Engineers supporting Integration Verification and Flight & Ground Test for an advanced Missile Defense Radar System.

We integrate hardware and software develop test plans and procedures debug and evaluate system interfaces and functions and verify system requirements in support of final sell-off to our customers.

Every day has a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware software networking or some combination of all three youll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis. Youll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement this role youll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts across the program.

This position is an onsite role in Tewksbury MA. Occasional travel between Raytheon facilities in both MA and southern NH is expected.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
• Operate our systems as well as related simulators/stimulators
• Identify and resolve issues and anomalies through debugging/troubleshooting and data analysis
• Integrate hardware or software into a tactical system and evaluate the functionality and impact of these changes
• Develop documentation execute plans and procedures process and analyze data and communicate results
• Communicate with internal and/or external stakeholders

Qualifications You Must Have

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience testing radar systems weapons systems or command and control systems
• Experience with data analysis including the application of scripting or automation using tools such as MATLAB Python etc.
• Proficiency with commonly used test equipment such as Oscilloscopes Network Analyzers Spectrum Analyzers etc.
• Experience with electrical schematics interface control documentation networks and communication protocols
• Exposure to concepts of radar operations and/or coursework in digital signal processing algorithm development electromagnetism electronics etc.

  The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
