Position Overview

As a Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician you will service maintain and repair commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems in a fast-paced customer-focused environment. This role is ideal for a self-motivated technician who takes pride in high-quality work and can operate independently while representing Five Star Refrigeration with professionalism.

What Youll Do

• Service troubleshoot and repair commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems including:

  • Rack systems

  • Walk-in coolers and freezers

  • Reach-ins and self-contained equipment

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision

• Work safely and in compliance with all company and industry safety standards

• Provide excellent customer service in a 24/7 service environment including participation in an on-call rotation

• Work with multiple refrigerants while maintaining EPA and regulatory compliance

• Accurately document service calls repairs and maintenance activities

• Support additional service areas as business needs require

• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

What Were Looking For

• 3 years of hands-on commercial HVAC/refrigeration experience

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently

• Technical training through an apprenticeship trade school RSES program or equivalent field experience

• EPA Certification (required)

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

• Professional attitude strong work ethic and customer-focused mindset
