Job Summary:
This role serves as a critical bridge between Operations Supply Chain Business and IT. It ensures that digital solutions and integrations deliver measurable value across Jabils global manufacturing network. This role combines deep functional expertise in materials management with strong digital acumen to support lead and scale transformational initiatives. The SME will work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements design digital workflows deploy new tools and ensure global alignment within Jabils digital ecosystem.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a Materials subject matter expert within the Digital Factory team translating operational needs into clear digital solution requirements.
Lead end-to-end deployment of global digital solutions (pilots scale) ensuring adoption standardization and measurable performance improvement.
Analyze complex operational data and build insights/dashboards to identify trends gaps and optimization opportunities across global sites.
Drive digital workflow design to standardize and optimize Materials processes within the global digital ecosystem.
Collaborate closely with Operations Supply Chain IT and site DF teams to ensure alignment solution readiness and cross-functional execution.
Support integration across ERP MES WMS planning and automation platforms to enable seamless material flow and data connectivity.
Champion continuous improvement and innovation by identifying new digital capabilities (automation ML predictive analytics) and supporting adoption through training and change management.
Job Qualifications - Knowledge Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP preferred.
Manufacturing materials procurement forecasting production planning inventory control and warehouse management experience preferred.
Advanced PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Effective communication skills and the ability to speak before groups of customers suppliers and employees.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
Proficient in reading and interpreting documents.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
Devise and implement logistics strategy to achieve business objectives.
Proficient verbal and written English skills.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in supply chain management or related field required. Masters degree in business analytics or artificial intelligence preferred.
2 years of work-related experience in supply chain or manufacturing preferred
Or an equivalent combination of education training or experience
