Job Description:
This position will provide daily care and management of the dairy herd.
Responsibilities will include performing milking procedures maintaining milking systems and sanitation monitoring cow health productivity and milk quality observing cows for signs of illness injury or abnormal behavior during milking assisting with basic animal care and treatments operating and maintaining farm equipment and facilities assisting with preventative maintenance and seasonal farm tasks performing feeding and cleaning of bedding packs maintaining accurate herd health and maintenance records and supporting other farm operations.
