Job Summary

CFA Institute India Private Limited (CFAIIPL) is seeking an University Relations Officer to support and execute relationship development strategies with universities and educational institutions across India with a focus in the Pune region. As part of the Global Partnerships & Client Solutions (GPCS) team this role plays a critical part in strengthening CFA Institutes academic ecosystem by engaging universities professors students and learning partners.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with a strong interest in education relationship management and stakeholder engagement to build meaningful partnerships and contribute to the growth and influence of CFA Institute programs in India.

What Youll Do

  • Support the execution of the CFAIIPL university relationship strategy across assigned geographies.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities colleges professors students and other academic stakeholders.

  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities that showcase CFA Institute programs and capabilities.

  • Schedule and coordinate information sessions events and appointments for subject matter experts.

  • Serve as a primary local point of contact for universities and members of the Indian academic community.

  • Conduct research on prospective university partners and outreach participants including collaboration with local CFA societies.

  • Track update and share relationship activity insights and outcomes using CRM systems.

  • Provide first-level response to inbound inquiries and support coverage of key relationships as needed.

  • Attend networking events and conferences to strengthen relationships and stay current on market trends.

Note: This role does not include contract negotiation or signing authority.


What Youll Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • 13 years of relevant experience in the education sector not-for-profit environment or investment industry with exposure to relationship management (B2B and/or B2C).

  • Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in relationship development and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong communication skills including written verbal listening and presentation abilities.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • High level of comfort networking with senior academicians professors and student organizations.

  • Self-motivated collaborative and able to work effectively both independently and within teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of academic institutions higher education ecosystems or online learning platforms.

  • Experience working across different countries or familiarity with diverse cultures.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels while understanding local needs and market dynamics.

Compensation Transparency

At CFA Institute we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring compliance with wage transparency laws in many of the jurisdictions in which we recruit we provide the following information regarding compensation for this position:

Expected salary range: - 140000 INR

Other benefits include eligibility for annual incentives 12% provident fund contribution and competitive medical benefits.
