Job Summary
NOW HIRING: Mechanical Engineer - Direct Hire Role!
One of our valued clients a growing pipeline-focused company with a tight-knit team of approximately 20 employees is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support pipeline and gas line projects.
Note: This is a hands-on onsite role requiring collaboration with supervisors engineers and field teams. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position.
Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer:
- Support the design analysis and implementation of pipeline and gas line systems
- Assist with mechanical design related to piping pressure systems and components
- Work closely with supervisors and other engineers to support day-to-day operations and projects
- Participate in regular team meetings project reviews and technical discussions
- Review drawings specifications and technical documentation
- Provide hands-on engineering support in coordination with fabrication installation and maintenance activities
- Ensure work aligns with applicable industry standards safety requirements and best practices
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to pipeline or gas line systems
Experienced Needed for the Mechanical Engineer Role:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical/engineering discipline
- Prior experience or exposure topipeline systems and/or gas lines (preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with interest in hands-on engineering work
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors engineers and cross-functional teams
- Ability to workfully onsite in Chicago IL
Schedule & Pay for the Mechanical Engineer Role:
- Salary:$80000 annually based on experience
- Full-time onsite role
- MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- No remote or hybrid work available
