Job Title: Pirate Outfitters Store ManagerReports to: Community Relations Coordinator Wage/Hourly Status: ExemptRevised: 05/22Dept. /School: Central OfficePrimary: The Store Manager is responsible for engaging and connecting with our customers and providing excellent customer service while overseeing the daily operations of Pirate OutfittersPurpose: Provide the Pine Tree ISD community with an exceptional experience at Pirate OutfittersQualifications: Education/Certification:High School diploma or GEDSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with customersCustomer-centric service provider both on and off the sales floorProblem solver focused on continuous improvement who is always learning open to feedback and takes action as requiredPassionate about retailAble to utilize retail technology work the cash register and process paymentsExperience creating written and visual content tailored for social media platforms including Facebook Instagram and TwitterProficient in Canva or another marketing design toolWebsite management experienceVideo experience is a plus but not requiredSkilled in visual merchandisingAble to multitaskBasic math skillsExperience:3 years of retail experience preferredMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Deliver the best customer experienceExecute operational processes effectively and efficientlySeek out and engage with customers to drive sales and service using suggestive sellingHandle all customer interactions and potential issues and returns courteously and professionallyMaintain a neat clean and organized storeRestock merchandiseWork cash register and process paymentsRun daily reports and depositsAssist with special eventsAble to maneuver around sales floor and lift up to 30 and update visual design displays and store layout to maximize salesCreate ideas for merchandiseSocial Media:Work with the Community Relations Coordinator to produce successful Facebook Instagram and Twitter content/video as neededCreate written and visual content across several social media platformsCreate content for social media including posts reels stories and live streamingBuild and moderate social media communities by responding to comments and keeping members engagedDesign and implement social media strategy for Pirate OutfittersDrive creations of engaging content that supports the brandMiscellaneous:Dress appropriately; Follow employee handbook employee dress guidelinesFollow health and safety regulationsAnswer incoming callsProcess purchase ordersProcess School Dude maintenance requestsObtain quotesOrder suppliesLift up to 30 IbsOther duties as assignedWorking Conditions:Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:Work with frequent interruptions maintain emotional control under stress.
