Location: Brick Township NJ 08724
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours/week 12-hour shifts 3 shifts per week
Pay Rate: $58.00 $68.00 per hour
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2001 $2346
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Mother Babyfor an exciting job in Brick Township NJ.
Key Responsibilities
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for postpartum patients and newborns
Provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care including monitoring maternal recovery and newborn health status
Develop and coordinate plans of care based on initial and ongoing assessments
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care throughout the hospital stay
Collaborate with physicians and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
Accurately document nursing care in accordance with clinical standards patient acuity and regulatory requirements
Identify patient needs and prioritize care using sound clinical judgment
Support and promote evidence-based nursing practices
Deliver compassionate patient- and family-centered care
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey or valid multi-state compact license
Minimum of 3 years of Mother Baby nursing experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and documentation skills
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
