SUMMARY:

The Account Executive guides our clients through the entire quoting and binding process by obtaining all documentation needed. Account Executives are responsible for servicing new clients and managing and retaining existing clients while also maintaining valued relationships with our insurance carriers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Interaction:
    • Provides client support with all levels of decision-makers and day-to-day representatives.
    • Follows up with clients to address their needs and resolve any issues or concerns.
    • Collect all documentation needed for quoting and binding an asset.
    • Prepares client renewals and new business strategies including proposals and presentations.
    • Introduces new products and ensures proper resources availability within the organization for the client. Cross-sell additional coverages when beneficial.
  • Carrier Relationship Management:
    • Present assets to several markets comparing quotes to then present the best options to our clients.
    • Responsible for putting all documentation together and sending the bind order to underwriting.
    • Follows up to ensure the policy has been bound and no further action is needed.
    • Responsible for renewals and taking renewals out to market.
  • Teamwork Collaboration & Trainings:
    • Attends trainings courses meetings etc. to maintain updated skills.
    • Collaborate and partner with Producers Account Managers and CSRs to provide best possible service to client.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in an insurance Account Management or Executive role in required experience is preferred.

  • Excellent oral and written English communications skills.

  • Superior customer service and problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work a regular full-time work schedule at HUBs facility(s) and ability to travel on business when required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred.

LICENSING OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states.

  • Current with all necessary CE credits in required lines and states.

  • Advanced professional designation highly desirable (e.g. AAI ARM CIC).

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: High school or equivalent
